Anita Barone

An actor with many talents who is mostly restricted to sitcoms on TV, Anita Barone received her greatest chance on the stage as the partner to Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which had a single season on ABC between 1995 and. Barone's first appearance on stage was at the age of five, in Detroit where her family had moved after moving out of St Louis. Barone was a part of more than 50 productions by the time of 23 mostly for the regional theatres and productions at universities. She was Juliet, the tormented young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the leading character of "Monday After the Miracle," as well as Juliet as well as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet." The year 1987 was the first time she played part in a feature film that was titled "Ricochet". Also, she played a character in "The The Rosary Murders". Also in 1996, she portrayed the leading lady in an uninvolved romantic comedy named "Just Friends". Barone was recruited by NBC in the 1990-91 time frame as a stockholder of "Carol and Company" which was the failed project of Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety program. Barone played the role in "Wounded Heart" the 1995 USA Network film. She returned to sitcoms that air on a weekly basis, co-starring in "Daddio", NBC 2000, with Michael Chiklis. Anita Anita Anita
